Natural Science Studies
This ongoing series explores observational natural science illustration through studies of marine and terrestrial species.

The collection brings together digital illustrations of amphibians, cephalopods, and invertebrates created in Procreate using reference-based drawing and observational study.
Each illustration focused on interpreting biological structure, surface texture, and colour while exploring a broader range of natural science subjects outside of medical and clinical illustration work.
The series was developed as part of an ongoing illustration practice centred on studying organisms individually through close visual observation and digital rendering. Subjects were selected from a range of marine and terrestrial species, allowing for experimentation with different anatomical forms, textures, and compositional approaches.
