I'm a medical and scientific illustrator with a PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of Toronto and The Hospital for Sick Children. My research background gives me a working understanding of the science I illustrate, from cellular mechanisms to clinical processes, so the visuals I create are accurate as well as clear.
I'm self-taught as an illustrator, having built the skill specifically to communicate scientific and medical content visually. This combination of scientific training and illustration ability lets me take complex source material, primary research, clinical content, or technical concepts, and turn it into anatomy illustrations, mechanism diagrams, infographics, and training materials that are both scientifically accurate and visually compelling.
